You can do a lot more at Thunder Over Louisville than simply look to the sky. With a slew of entertainment options available at Thunder on the Ground, there is sure to be something for everyone!
From the Thunder FoodFest to the Interactive Display Area to the Kid’s Play Areas on the Great Lawn, there’s refreshments and entertainment galore.

- Meijer Family Fun Zone at Big Four Bridge Lawn: 2 PM – 9 PM
Each location offers FREE admission with a 2026 Pegasus Pin, a Beer Garden, Thunder Sound, and Food Vendors.
Thunder Food Fest
More than 115 vendors will be available at the Chow Wagon, Great Lawn, Big Four Lawn, West Belvedere, and along Witherspoon.

The KCS Foundation & Waterproofing Military Zone is a key part of Thunder on the Ground that gives families and fans the chance to connect with service members, explore military displays, and celebrate the partnership Thunder has with our U.S. Armed Forces. In 2026, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and more will be at the Military Zone.
U.S. Army exhibit featuring the Army Adventure Trailer, Dog Tag Machine, Physical Fitness Challenge and a Blackhawk Helicopter.

- Merchant Row along Witherspoon at the Great Lawn. Vendors will be selling a wide variety of things including jewelry, sunglasses, air chairs, caricatures, and more!
