16th Annual Show features “Thunder Rocks” A Derby Festival Tribute to 50 years of Rock-n-Roll

SHOW SCHEDULE

Welcome to “Thunder Rocks” -  a Derby Festival tribute to 50 years of Rock-n-Roll. Enjoy six and ½ hours of high-flying entertainment in the air and hands-on experiences on the ground.  One of the nation’s top airshows features continuous performance of aerobatic stunt aircraft, helicopters, wing-walking action, sky-diving and fly-overs by military aircraft from every branch of the armed services.  After dark, prepare for the Thunder as the 16th annual pytotechnic spectacular explodes to a sensational rock sound track from Elvis and Chuck Berry to The Rolling Stones and AC/DC.  Thunder will be electrifying!

Thunder Chow Wagon @ Waterfront Park Opens, Thunder Beer Garden on the Belvedere Opens, Thunder FoodFest Opens
 IndyCar Series Fan Experience opens off River Road (Purple lot at Waterfront Park)
 ThunderWear merchandise booths open at six locations

Noon  Pegasus pin booths open at four locations – look for ”fly-guy” streamers

3 – 7 PM  Pin Trading at Pin Booth at Third & River Road

3 PM  Gus & Peggy Pegasus (Festival Mascots) meet & greet at the Chow Wagon

4 – 7 PM  Gus & Peggy Pegasus visit Waterfront Park

1 - 3 PM   BANNER TOWS Begin on both sides of river

2:30 PM  New Breed on the Budweiser True Music Stage at Chow Wagon
