THUNDER ROCKS TO GREAT SOUNDTRACK

2005-04-20T08:23:41

Since Thunder's inception 16 years ago, music has played a major role in the show experience.  From the live music of Janie Frickie the first year and the LeAnn Rimes performance on a barge in 2002 to the scores of a "Broadway Thunder" and patriotic tunes, the soundtrack for the fireworks helps interpret each year's theme.  This year, Thunder will ROCK as the Derby Festival salutes 50 years of Rock-n-Roll.

Starting at 9:30 pm EST on Saturday, April 23, here's what you'll hear via Thunder sound towers on the venue or simulcast live on 84WHAS Radio (840 AM).
