January 21, 2000. Louisville, KY. There will be a Press Conference at 3 PM to announce the future of Derby Festival Opening Ceremonies: Thunder Over Louisville at Kentucky Derby Festival Headquarters, 1001 South Third Street.

Please Note: 3rd Street between Kentucky and St.Catherine will be closed from 2:30 – 4 PM. However, station vehicles will be able to enter this area. The Press Conference will take place in front of the Derby Festival Building.
