F-15 DEMO TEAM TO PERFORM AT THUNDER

2008-04-06T10:56:04

The United States Air Force Viper West and Strike Eagle Demonstration Teams will be performing at the Thunder over Louisville Air Show on Saturday, April 12 and will be in the local area and available for interview April 10 through 13.
Viper West flies the F-16 fighting falcon and the Strike Eagle Demo flies the F-15E.  Both are single ship demonstration teams in Air Combat Command.

The F-16CG is a single-seat, multi-mission fighter and its powerful General Electric engine produces more horsepower than the entire starting lineup of the Indianapolis 500.  The F-15E Strike Eagle is a dual-role fighter with two crew members -- a pilot and a weapon systems officer -- performing air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.  Both teams will showcase their aircrafts superior performance and personnel at the Thunder Air Show.
