CAESARS INDIANA TO SPONSOR THUNDER UNTIL 2010

The Kentucky Derby Festival is pleased to announce that Caesars Indiana has signed a three-year commitment to be a presenting sponsor of Thunder Over Louisville -- the Kentucky Derby Festival's Opening Ceremonies -- beginning with the 2008 Thunder show on April 12 and running through 2010. Caesars Indiana, which will change its name to Horseshoe Southern Indiana in 2009, is in its ninth consecutive year of sponsoring Thunder Over Louisville, but this is the first time the company has made a multi-year commitment.

We're proud that for the first time Caesars Indiana will make a multi-year commitment to the Kentucky Derby Festival to be a continued sponsor of Thunder for three years. What's exciting for us is that we will return in 2009 as Horseshoe Southern Indiana -- a premier brand of Harrah's Entertainment."

Caesars Indiana is a longtime supporter of the Kentucky Derby Festival. In addition to nine years of sponsoring Thunder Over Louisville, Caesars has sponsored the Festival's They're Off! Luncheon at Churchill Downs and will host the Derby Festival's Spring Fashion Show this year on April 3. Caesars Indiana is operated by Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., the world's largest provider of casino entertainment through operating subsidies. Since its beginning in Reno, Nevada, nearly 70 years ago, Harrah's has grown through development of new properties, expansions and acquisitions, and now owns or manages casinos on four continents. The company's properties operate primarily under the Harrah's, Caesars and Horseshoe brand names; Harrah's also owns the London Clubs International family of casinos.       
 
Thunder Over Louisville - the Derby Festival's Opening Ceremonies - is one of the more than 70 events produced by the Derby Festival in the spring. The 2008 Thunder Over Louisville, themed "Out Of This World," is set for Saturday, April 12, and will be the  will be the 19th annual production. The show is sponsored by Caesars Indiana, E.ON U.S., Meijer and UPS.
